The University of Lagos
Senate has approved the change of name of the Department of Chemical
Engineering to Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering in the
Faculty of Engineering. Students and members of staff of the school are
hereby informed.
Also, the general public and corporate bodies, government parastatals are also to take note of this change.
The approval, issued at the Senate Meeting of January 28, 2015, followed the consideration of the recommendation of the Academic Planning Committee on the matter.
