Here is the list of the most sought-after universities in Nigeria for the 2015/2016 admission year. These universities are the top most-chosen Universities during the 2015 JAMB UTME registration – they have the highest number of candidates seeking admission into them.

The list is topped by the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) with 107,488 with UNIBEN at a distant second (71,496 applicants). UNIZIK closely follows with 70,609 candidates. Tenth on this list is UNIJOS with 41,286 applicants.
