The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) admitted 29,092 students across its 62 study centres nationwide during the 13th matriculation ceremony of the institution held last Saturday.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Vincent Tenebe urged the students to be diligent, determined, focused and disciplined so as to be able to graduate with good grades.
He told them that gaining admission into the university was not a guarantee for graduation.
Speaking on the school’s operations, the VC explained that apart from producing instructional materials in print, audio CDs and braille, there are also ICT interactive platforms for both the students and members of staff including course instructors.
