ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
Applicant for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma Programme of the University must be:Graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University or any other approved University. Or holders of Higher National Diploma at not less than Lower Credit level.
Master’s Degree Programmes
M.Sc/M.Ed.(Academic)
Applicants shall normally possess not lower than Second Class Honours Degree of the Olabisi Onabanjo University or any other approved University.
Master in Laboratory Technology (MLT)
Applicants for admission into (MLT) Programme of the University must possess HND at not less than Lower Credit level and must be a Fellow of Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (FISLT).
Professional Master Degree Programmes
Applicants shall normally possess not lower than Second Class Honours Lower Division Degree of the Olabisi Onabanjo University or other approved University or a Higher National Diploma at not less than Lower Credit level with a Postgraduate Diploma in relevant field(s).
Ph. D Programme
Candidates who obtained their Master degree in relevant disciplines from Olabisi Onabanjo University with a minimum of 3.50 Cumulative Grade Points would be allowed to register for Ph.D. programmes directly.
Other candidates from Olabisi Onabanjo University with Cumulative Grade Points of 3.00 to 3.49 will only be admitted for MPhil/Ph.D. and not Ph.D. directly. Their candidature for MPhil or Ph.D. shall however be determined on the basis of performance after two (2) Semesters course work.
Candidates who obtained their Master degree in relevant disciplines from other Institutions with a minimum of 3.00 Cumulative Grade Points on a 5 point Scale, or Weighted Average of 50%) will only be admitted for MPhil/Ph.D.Â
Their candidature for MPhil or Ph.D. shall however be determined on the basis of performance after two (2) Semesters course work.
IN ADDITION TO THE STATED ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMES ABOVE, ALL APPLICANTS ARE TO NOTE THAT: Â
There will be qualifying examinations at a date to be communicated to all applicants.
The University Matriculation requirements of individual Departments running the programme must be satisfied before a candidate can be considered for admission.
For admission into any of the Programmes, possession of N.Y.S.C. Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate issued by the Directorate is compulsory
All programmes in the University required O’Level Credit pass in English Language in addition to four other credits in relevant subjects while O’Level credit pass in Mathematics is required for Science based programmes.

Click on APPLY NOW http://pgs.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/portal/application/apply.php on the side navigation bar after going through the instructions on the page. Under the NEW APPLICATION Section, provide the following details RRN (Available on the POS payment acknowledgement slip), desired Programme, desired mode, Surname, First name, Middle name and your email address and click on PURCHASE FORM.
On the success of Step 1 a form number would be generated for you and subsequently sent to your email address.
You’ll thereafter be directed to a page where you’ll be changing your password. NB: Your initial password is your SURNAME
From your dashboard fill and submit the biodata details of your application form and provide all details as required. Ensure you tick the checkbox on the Biodata confirmation page before submitting as failure to do so would keep the form open.
Fill the details of your referees and ensure that you obtain their valid email address before filling in their details as they would be required to fill the referee form via the internet.
Once all your referees have submitted their attestation form and you have confirmed and submitted your application biodata form the application acknowledgement slip would be available for you to print.
Thereafter, submit a copy of the Application Acknowledgment Slip alongside a copy of each of your credentials to the Secretary, Postgraduate School, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
