The Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos (UNIJOS), Prof. Hayward Mafuyai, has said that the management of the university had no plan to close down the institution after the bomb blast that hit the university town last Thursday.
Prof. Mafuyai, who spoke at a press briefing in Jos, denied rumours that student’s of the institution died in the explosion and said that only a female student sustained injuries.
He condemned the blasts that rocked the vicinity of the university campus raod while he assured that the ongoing second semester examinations would continue.
The bomb blast which was suspected to have been planted by terrorist exploded at Bauchi road in J0s, killing several people and wounding others.
