The National Examinations Council (NECO)
has released the result of the 2014 GCE result for external candidates
to start checking .
In the results of the November/December
2014 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), 30.57 per
cent of the candidates who sat for the examination passed at credit
level in five major subjects including mathematics and English language.
It is however an improvement on the the 2013 result which recorded 28.62 per cent of the candidates with five credits and above.

Out of the 63,445 candidates who registered for the examination, only 61,386 candidates sat for it
59,996 out of 63,445 or 52.39 per cent
scored credit pass in English language while 29,568 out of 59,262 or
49.8 per cent had credit pass in Mathematics
620 candidates which is one per cent of the candidates were involved in malpractices at the national level.
