Students Nigeria gathered that there exist many vacancies presently at UNILORIN. Therefore, the University of Ilorin invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in the Physical Planning Unit:

Director, Physical Planning Unit (CONTISS 15):

The candidate must possess a good degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.  A minimum of sixteen (16) years post qualification experience is required.  In addition, the candidate must be registered with appropriate professional regulatory body.  Previous experience in University setting would be an added advantage.

Deputy Director, Physical Planning Unit (CONTISS 14):

The candidate must possess a good degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.  A minimum of thirteen (13) years post qualification experience is required.  In addition, professional registration with appropriate regulatory body is mandatory.  Computer literacy with proficiency in the use of relevant software is necessary.

Chief Civil Engineer (Structures) (CONTISS 13):

The candidate must possess a good University degree in Civil Engineering with bias for structures. A minimum of thirteen (13) years post graduation experience is required. The candidate must be registered with COREN.  The candidate must be capable of designing major structural elements/buildings.  The use of relevant engineering software design packages is essential.  Candidates not proficient in this area of specialization need not apply.

Principal Civil Engineer (Structures) (CONTISS 11):

The candidate must possess a good University degree in Civil Engineering with bias for structures. A minimum of ten (10) years post graduation experience is required. The candidate must be registered with COREN.  The candidate must be capable of designing major structural elements/buildings.  The use of relevant engineering software design packages is essential.  Candidates not proficient in this area of specialization need not apply.
