Some students of the University of Lagos were forced
to sleep out in the open on Tuesday after failing to complete their
re-absorption forms. According to the university management, no student
was allowed to stay in the residential halls without completing the
forms which now include a "hall of residence clearance form" for
students who reside on campus.
The university, which resumed academic operations on Tuesday, refused to give students who could not complete their forms, access to the halls of residence. The University also banned squatting and any form of gathering in the halls of residence.
