The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, who made the announcement at the Council’s national headquarters in Minna, Niger State on Thursday, stated that 969,991 candidates registered for the examinations.
He said that 969,491 candidates sat for the examination, with 68.56 per cent of the candidates recording five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. Prof. Garba said the results was released exactly 60 days after the examinations was written in June.
The NECO chief urged candidates to start checking their results online now as all the results has fully been uploaded.
