AKSU Expels 6 Students For Their Involvement in Criminal Activities


The students affairs division of the Akwa Ibom State University has released a notice indicating the names of Six (6) Students of the University that have been expelled for various offences.

Okokon Eno-obong Nkaimaha a 300 level student, Dept of English & Literary studies and Daniel Mbetobong Sunday a 300 level student, Dept of Political Science were expelled for theft offences.



While Ernest Michael Ufia a 100 level student Electrical Engineering Dept, Leonard Christopher Inyanga 200 level student, Civil Engineering Dept, Minne Akpe Ndunofit a 300 level student, Agriculture Engineering Dept. and Joseph Jackson Nse a 400 level student Geo-science were expelled for their involvement in cult related offences.

This Notice follows the University’s Senate verdict after series of investigations and evidences presented of the above named students involved.

The six students have their photographs pasted in the both campuses for the knowledge of every member of the University community.

Meanwhile, further investigations are still ongoing on other reported non-social activities of some students.
