EKSU full time Postgraduate Programmes of the Centre for Gender and
Development Studies (CGDS) admission form is now available. Interested
graduates are hereby informed and advised to procure their forms in
earnest as the closing date for the form has also been announced.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following full time Postgraduate Programmes of the Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS) of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
About EKSU CGDS Postgraduate Programme
The programmes are designed as both professional and academic experience focusing on development issues, especially as these relate to women, children, and the vulnerable groups, thereby catering for the diverse and pressing demand for professional practice in both public and private sectors of the developing nations. The overall objective of the programmes is to build appropriate skill and capacity for the understanding and analysis of a wide range of development issues. Thus, relevant desk officers in government agencies and non-governmental agencies; those who desire to train as (1) social welfare officers, (2) gender analysts for academic institutions, government/private sector organisations and NGOs; and those willing to further their academic pursuit in either Social Work or Gender and Development Studies are eligible for admission into any of the programmes.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
(i) a bachelor’s degree not below third class honours in any discipline from a
recognized University;
(ii) any approved equivalent professional qualifications (to ‘i’ above) recognized by the Senate of the Ekiti State University;
(iii) relevant professional qualifications such as HND Social Work, not lower than Upper Credit in other related disciplines and approved equivalent qualifications.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes at GCE/SSCE Ordinary Level (obtained at not more than two sittings) including English Language and at least a P7 in Mathematics.

(a) An application Fee of Sixteen Thousand Naira only (N16,000.00) is to be paid via E-transact into any of the following Banks:

Candidates should note that the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies must receive reports and officially dispatched transcripts of academic records of each applicant before his/her application could be processed.

EKSU Centre For Gender And Development Studies Postgraduate Form Closing Date
Application forms are obtainable throughout the year. However, only completed APPLICATION FORMS RECEIVED NOT LATER THAN Friday, 22nd May, 2015 will be processed for admission for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
