Students of the Benue state College of Education Katsina-Ala, this
morning protested over the sudden increment of their tuition fee.
According to an eyewitness, it caused a total disruption of academic
activities.The first/second gate of the college were locked and the gate
leading to the administrative block of the college was also closed with
palm leaves tied on it by angry students.
The situation is however now under control following the intervention of the deputy provost academics Mr. D. Hindi. He pledged to convey their message to the provost Prof O.N. Nder and the students were instructed to report on campus tomorrow for the provost's speech.
