A
protest by JAMB students is currently on around Maryland lagos. The
students who took to the streets with different placards along with some
concerned parents are calling for the removal of JAMB's registrar, prof
Dibu Ojerinde. They say his policies since taking leadership of the
body has been to the detriment of the students seeking admission into
the Nation's many tertiary institutions. Some claim that even with a
score of 250 one can't be eligible to sit for the post-UTME of their
choice university. Some say they were transferred to some other school
they didn't fill for, most of which are expensive private schools or
schools not offering their choice course. The hashtag #DibuMustGo is
currently gaining grounds on twitter were concerned Nigerians are airing
their opinion.
