UNN Set to Award 15,504 Academic Degrees at its 44th Convocation Ceremony


The Vice Chancellor Of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Prof. Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, has disclosed that the institution will on its 44th convocation ceremony award 15,504 people with various academic degrees .

A breakdown revealed that the institution will produce 331 PhD’s, 1,168 Masters Degrees, 177 Postgraduate Diplomas; 14,015 1st Degrees and 213 Diplomas.

He stated that the graduands would be able to get their certificates on the day of the convocation in spite of the fact that the convocation was coming shortly after the students had graduated.

According to him, this is going to be tradition of his administration.

“Efforts are being made to clear the back-log of unsigned certificates and return the university to a sound footing”, he added.
