Here
is his letter too us hitting back at the institution for throwing
objects at him when he honoured them with a perfomance at their burn
fire night.
Port harcourt/uniport finest and well connected
artiste/fashion and promotional model "Bobie E" who was stoned
disposeables during his performance comes back for unizik.
"Thats the percel you get when you perform for a bunch of uncultured people in a remote or aloof settings mixed up with haters.
This
is no self praise but i know my self, i know what i have done,i know
what i can do and that was the first time i expirenced such in my
musical career infact it never happend when i was a fresher not
even now that i have advanced in the game, i am one hell of a performer
and anyone who has seen me in gigs would have that certified for me.
This
is not the first time am performing in Awka, this should be the third
but the first time am performing in unizik. I was told that unizik
students hates to appreciate artistes and i have seen that before now.
In
2013 when i accompanied host of big names from Enugu to the same school
for their s.u.g night and same thing happened to one of the artiste
although he wasn't stoned but the students kept shouting "AWAY"!!! but
he got something worse on his way back...
I
know i am not the first artist to witness this, infact loads of
established entertainers has expirenced this too but am saddened. Why
throwing things on the artiste? as if it was a concert and you paid him
fortune for a live prformance
and he came and lip synced. They couldnt even pay their guest act.
Anyway
you guys have to grow up and learn how to organise your events, pay
proffesional dj's who would not screw someone's set by playing a song or
instrumental by another artiste for him and most importantly learn how
to show love to entertainers and when next you want to put up
an event like this, infact you guys should visit uniport this september
and see how s.u.g week is being hosted. I am inviting your school
specially to come and jack. S.u.g night in uniport is like a 'Concert'
and our s.u.g week is like
felaboration.
