EKSU has matriculated Sandwich Postgraduate Students for the
2013/2014 contact session. The newly admitted students of the Sandwich
Postgraduate programme of Ekiti State University
took their matriculation oath on Friday, July 3, 2015 to mark the
beginning of their studentship in the College of Postgraduate Studies
of Ekiti State University.
The Vice-Chancellor who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Ibiyinka Ogunlade at the occasion described the matriculation ceremony as hyperbolic because it was the first one after the nomenclature of the school of postgraduate studies changed to College of Postgraduate Studies.
Prof. Aina who noted that the University has not recorded encouraging number of intakes to the Sandwich programmes in recent times, however, explained that the university would not lower its standard or water down admission requirements.
The Vice-Chancellor commended the matriculating students for their determination to invest in self development and urged them to remain focused and obey the rules of the University authority.
Earlier, the Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Ogunyemi had administered the oath taken on the students.
